“To make God laugh, Let him know your Plans”

I came across this simple yet powerful ironic quote in the novel ‘The Janson Directive‘ by Robert Ludlum. The lead character – Paul Janson’s wife Helene who dies in a terrorist bombing… uses this quote often (though you can’t hear her say that often coz she is dead by the time you can get her to quote even twice). I must say the Ludlum tends to get a little repetative with his storyline and characters. For instance, usually his lead character is an early 40 something – Paul Janson, Sheldon, etc and then either their wives or girlfriends die – Bourne, Janson, Sheldon. Anyways, this is a fast paced action thriller and satiates the taste of all fiction fans.
